Malaga have signed striker Roque Santa Cruz to a three-year
contract after he played well for the Spanish club on loan last season
from Manchester City.
The 31-year-old Paraguay international helped Malaga reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League last season.
Now, under new coach Bernd Schuster, Santa Cruz may take on a bigger role after the exit of attacking trio Francisco "Isco" Alarcon, Joaquin Sanchez, and Javier Saviola.
Santa Cruz spent eight seasons with Bayern Munich before playing for Premier League sides Blackburn and Man City.
He joins new signings Bobley Anderson from Ivory Coast, midfielder Fernando Tissone, and defender Flavio Nunes
